I provide professional, certified strength training and conditioning designed to help you reach and maintain your health and fitness goals. I work with each client to custom design an exercise plan that reflects their short and long-term goals.

Whether you’re wanting to increase sports performance, to look better, to become a healthier version of yourself or to improve the quality of your life, strength training will help. When you are strong, everything becomes easier. Need to lift something heavy in work? The stronger you are, the easier it is. Need to store a heavy bag overhead in the train? That barbell was heavier, no problem for you. Need to cycle up a steep hill? The more force you can apply to those pedals, the easier it is.

Strength Training Over 40
As we age, our muscle mass diminishes. But we can counteract this loss through strength training. The aging process in humans starts for most individuals around the age of 40 years old. Part of this process is the loss of skeletal muscle (sarcopenia). Sarcopenia contributes significantly to morbidity, decrease in quality of life, frailty, loss of independence, weight gain and more. If you don’t do anything to replace the lost muscle, your body fat percentage will increase. The more calorie burning muscle lost, the more fat accumulates. Strength training can help to preserve and enhance your muscles, regardless of age.
